Publishers is a division of Etiquette Matters, Inc. of Siler City, North
Carolina. The umbrella company not only oversees the publishing of quality
motivational, instructional, and entertainment books and articles, but also
presents seminars and corporate training in etiquette and dining skills to equip
student-athletes and young executives in proper social skills. The parent
company which was begun in 1993 by Cecilia Budd Grimes, author of the successful
What It Means to Be Southern book series, is growing into a multi-media
agency under the Abrams & van Wyck banner. With a vision for the
future, company president, Cecilia Budd Grimes, has appointed Norm Allen as Vice
President of Marketing & Public Relations to oversee the expansion of the
publishing company. Soliciting new authors, preparing manuscripts, seeking new
markets and distribution outlets, and pursuing media opportunities are his
tasks. Abram & van Wyck is also expanding into live recording of books on CD
and music recording with their new state-of-the-art 124 track digital studio
capable of producing broadcast-ready programs for syndicated radio audiences and
mass production of CDs for retail and wholesale distribution. The studio will
also be active in providing custom liners, IDs, and station imaging for radio
