Cecilia Budd Grimes

With a magnolia tree in her front yard, five generations of kin folk belonging to the same Southern Baptist church, and recipes from her Virginia grandmother tucked in the pages of her well-worn cookbook, Cecilia Budd Grimes is uniquely qualified to offer a perspective on all things Southern.

A speaker, trainer, and certified etiquette and protocol consultant, she is president of Etiquette Matters, a firm specialized in etiquette awareness and dining skills training. She holds an undergraduate degree from Wake Forest University and a masters degree from Duke University. She is married to her college sweetheart, also a Southern, and they have two married sons, four precious grandchildren and a darlin' golden retreiver.
